This passage is adapted from Jane Austen, Mansfield Park, originally published in 1814. Sir Thomas, a rich man, is telling Fanny, the poor niece he raised from age ten, that their neighbor wishes to speak to her to continue his courtship of her.

Passage 2: Questions 11-20 - Social Science- December 2, 2017 US SAT Test QAS

This passage is adapted from Eric Jaffe, "Digital Cameras Are Messing With Your Memory."©2013 by Mansueto Ventures LLC.

Summary:Mainly talk about the relationship between taking pictures and human memory. The article believes that frequent photos will actually damage people's memory ability, causing people to be unable to remember the details of many important events, and then use experiments to test this theory.
