August 2026 SAT Score Review: Plan Your Next Practice Session

SAT GrandMaster

This retrospective guide focuses on how to use a returned SAT score report to plan your next practice session. It does not estimate a scoring curve or promise that questions from a past test will appear again.

Start with your own score report

Identify the skills that need attention and compare them with the mistakes you remember making. A total score is a useful checkpoint, but it is more actionable when paired with a record of the questions or concepts that caused difficulty.

Turn the result into a practice plan

  1. Choose one or two skills to review first.
  2. Work through targeted questions and explain your reasoning.
  3. Review mistakes, then try a fresh set on the same ideas.
  4. Return to mixed practice to check whether the improvement transfers.

Choosing another test date

Check current registration dates and the requirements of the institutions you plan to apply to. Leave enough time to make a specific improvement before booking another attempt.

Choose an available paper

Our product pages list the test periods, sections and answers currently included in each package. Use that list to choose a suitable practice download.
