Digital SAT QAS Breakdown: June 2026 Test (6A) — Both Adaptive Routes + Full Key: The Complete June Form

SAT GrandMaster

Last updated: September 2026 · By the AllSatPapers Content Team

June 2026 gave us eight documents, but only one is a complete, text-indexed, fully answered exam: Form 6A. This 99-page PDF holds 147 questions — R&W Module 1 (27), R&W Module 2 in both adaptive routes (27 + 27), Math Module 1 (22), Math Module 2 in both routes (22 + 22) — with an inline answer printed under every question.

That makes 6A the flagship of the June set: the compilations (6B–6D) and Bluebook captures (6E–6G) show slices of the pool; 6A shows the whole machine — both adaptive branches plus a key. Below: real stems from our full parse, a verified-answers table, all 81 R&W questions mapped onto the College Board's four domains, and 6A's overlap with 6H and the fall 2025 pools.

What's Inside the 6A File?

Test date June 2026 digital administration
Format 99-page PDF with a true text layer — every question fully parsed and searchable (not Bluebook screenshots)
Section 1 Reading & Writing — Module 1: 27 questions · Module 2: 27 questions in each of both adaptive routes (54 total)
Section 2 Math — Module 1: 22 questions · Module 2: 22 questions in each of both adaptive routes (44 total)
Total questions 147, numbered continuously 1–147 (R&W 1–81, Math 82–147)
Answer keys Full inline key — an answer under all 147 questions. Two are em-dash placeholders (Q61, Q74, both in R&W Module 2's second route) where the source left the answer blank; we disclose rather than invent them

One labeling note: the route labels follow file order — which Module 2 route is "easy" and which is "hard" is not derivable from the text. We won't pretend otherwise; instead we characterize each route from its stem content in the module section below, clearly marked as our analysis.

Sample Questions — Quoted From the Parse, With the Included Answers

Reading & Writing, Module 1, Q1 — The Airline-Routes Data Table

"Highly Traveled Commercial Airline Routes in 2017–18" — a table of four busy routes with distances and 2017/2018 passenger counts: "A study of commercial airline routes that carried the greatest number of passengers in 2017 and 2018 shows that, in general, domestic routes… carried many more passengers than international routes. However, a few international routes were so popular that they carried more travelers than some of the most highly traveled domestic routes, as can be seen when comparing the ______."

Data completion → included answer C: compare Hong Kong–Bangkok in 2018 (3,490,988 — international) with Mexico City–Monterrey that year (3,474,971 — domestic). The international route wins by a hair — exactly the "however" the sentence needs. Distractors punish lazy reading: A compares a route to itself, B compares distances, D picks routes that don't fit the claim.

6A Reading & Writing Module 1 — Q1 airline-routes data table and Q2 mentorship vocabulary

Reading & Writing, Module 1, Q2 — The Mentorship Vocabulary Opener

"In skilled trades like electrical work, experienced professionals generally instruct newcomers to the field, not just showing them how to complete tasks but also explaining the reasoning behind standard practices. ______ such as this ensures that valuable knowledge continues to be passed down."

Words in context → included answer B: "Mentorship." Certification, innovation, and craftsmanship all sound trade-adjacent, but only mentorship names the relationship the passage describes. Classic June opener: short text, one blank, four single-word choices — and it punishes vibe-based answering.

Math, Module 1, Q98 — The Function Grid-In That Traveled

"The function is defined by… What is the value of [the function] when [given x]?" — a student-produced-response item (no choices; you grid in the number). Formulas render as images in the PDF, so we quote the ask, not the equation.

Included answer: 720. What makes Q98 special isn't the algebra — it's the passport stamps: our overlap engine found this exact item, verbatim, in the September 2025 9J and August 2025 8G banks and in November 2025 11C — one grid-in linking four administrations.

6A Math Module 1 — grid-in items including the Q98 function question answered 720

More Verified Answers From 6A's Included Key

Location Question (abbreviated) Included answer

Math M2 route 2 Q133 Wood-finish/painted blocks — probability (grid-in) 6/31

One June Pool: How 6A Connects to 6B–6H and Last Fall's Tests

We ran all 147 parsed questions against every document in our archive; the numbers are exact, not estimated:

Compared against 6A questions matched Share of 6A What matched
2026 6H Question Bank (495 questions) 68 (47 verbatim + 21 retuned) 46.3% Nearly half the form — e.g. the La Maravilla (Q11), School for Scandal (Q12), and Makeba notes (Q46) items, all word-for-word
2025 9J Question Bank (September) 25 (9 verbatim + 16 retuned) 17.0% Including the Q98 function grid-in and the parallel-lines figure item (Q85), both verbatim
2025 8G Question Bank (August) 21 (9 verbatim + 12 retuned) 14.3% The Q98 grid-in again, plus both "solution to the system" items (Q107, Q142) verbatim
2025 12F Question Bank (December) 14 (1 verbatim + 13 retuned) 9.5% Mostly retunes of the "how many solutions" family that closes 6A's second Math M2 route (Q123, Q146, Q147)
2025 11C (November) 12 (6 verbatim + 6 retuned) 8.2% The Q98 grid-in and the system-of-equations items, verbatim

That leaves 65 questions — 44% of the form — exclusive to 6A in our current archive: where June's genuinely new material lives, and a big reason to own this form even if you already have the fall banks.

Two longer chains deserve names. December 2025's 12C carried a stony-coral depth table and a Dolly Parton "9 to 5" item; both resurface in 6A's first Module 2 route with new values and distractors. And the fast-food vocabulary item is June's most sociable question: 6A Q22 (keyed D, "resisted"), 6B's Q1856, and 6C's Q2 (both keyed C — choices reordered), plus an Australian re-skin in 6G. One pool, many costumes.

Deep Analysis: What 6A Tests, Module by Module

Reading & Writing — College Board Domain Distribution (81 questions)

We classified all 81 R&W questions by prompt wording (vocab/structure/cross-text → Craft & Structure; main idea/evidence/data/inference → Information & Ideas; transitions/notes → Expression of Ideas; conventions → Standard English Conventions); the Module 2 column combines both routes:

College Board domain Module 1 Module 2 (both routes) Total Share
Craft & Structure (words in context, purpose/structure, cross-text) 8 16 24 ~30%
Information & Ideas (main idea, evidence, data, inference) 7 14 21 ~26%
Expression of Ideas (transitions, notes/synthesis) 7 12 19 ~23%
Standard English Conventions (grammar, punctuation) 5 12 17 ~21%

The counts sum to 81 and track the College Board's published blueprint closely. Craft & Structure leads, driven by cross-text and vocabulary items in Module 2.

The Two R&W Module 2 Routes — Our Analytical Read

6A Reading & Writing Module 2 first route — cross-text analysis sample

The easy/hard identity can't be determined from the text, so here is the evidence instead. Route 1 (Q28–54) averages 85 words per stem and leans on data tables and notes synthesis — the Norse Greenland cross-text, the Makeba notes, the coral and whale tables. Route 2 (Q55–81) averages 97 words per stem, carries denser rhetorical analysis (the Vertov, Exeter Book, and Cristall items), and bears a heavier Craft & Structure load (9 items to route 1's 7 by our classification). Longer stems plus more structure-analysis is the classic hard-route signature, so our read is that route 2 is the harder branch — our analysis, not a label printed in the file. Both gap questions (Q61, Q74) sit in route 2, consistent with that reading.

6A Reading & Writing Module 2 second route — denser rhetorical-analysis items

Math — 16 True Grid-Ins and Two Very Different Module 2s

Across the 66 math questions, 16 are student-produced-response grid-ins with numeric answers inline: six in Module 1 (slope 4.5; the 720 function item; diameter 700; 85; 44; 3267), five per Module 2 route (route 1: 8, 24, 9, 480, 11; route 2: 6/31, 38, 7.32, 72, 180). Module 1 is a standard mix — linear relationships, parallel-lines figures, an exponential savings table, cylinders, a pet-service inequality.

The two Module 2 routes diverge sharply. Route 1 (Q104–125) averages just 23 words per stem of direct, mid-difficulty work — percent-of, unit conversion, beluga-whale linear growth. Route 2 (Q126–147) averages 36 words per stem and closes with genuine hard-route material: similar-cylinder surface-area scaling (7.32), parameterized rearrangements, two "how many solutions" discriminants, and the blocks grid-in (6/31). Same test, same module number — two different exams, both fully answered.

6A Math Module 2 second route — advanced items including the blocks probability grid-in

Tips for Students Using 6A

  • Simulate the adaptive fork. Sit R&W Module 1 timed, then take route 1 if you missed 8+ and route 2 if you missed fewer; repeat for math. 6A is the only June document that lets you rehearse the branch decision itself.
  • Trust the key, but audit the two gaps. Q61 and Q74 are em-dash placeholders in the source; solve those two yourself (a transition and a conventions item) as bonus practice, not defects.
  • Grid-in discipline is a quarter of the math here. 16 of 66 math questions demand produced answers, fractions like 6/31 and decimals like 7.32 included — practice entering exact forms.
  • Mine the 46.3% overlap with 6H. After working 6A, open the bank: 68 questions will be familiar (47 identical); the other ~427 are your biggest June drill set.
  • Study the fast-food item's disguises. It appears in 6A, 6B, 6C, and re-skinned in 6G, the answer letter moving each time. Learn the logic, not the letter.
